Subsequence is a bilingual, semi-annual magazine published by Cubism Inc., the parent company of visvim. Founded and edited by Kosuke Ide, the magazine explores global arts, crafts, design, travel and culture through richly photographed essays and long-form storytelling. Guided by the theme “Arts & Crafts for the Age of Eclectic”, each issue celebrates craftsmanship, creativity and cultural heritage from diverse perspectives around the world. Volume 6, Harmonious, explores the relationships that connect people, places and communities in an increasingly fragmented world. Through conversations with artists, designers, chefs and educators, alongside features on art, craft and cultural traditions from around the globe, the issue reflects on the meaning of connection, belonging and collective experience. Richly illustrated and thoughtfully curated, it offers a compelling exploration of harmony in its many forms. 160 pages 26 x 37 cm Bilingual in English and Japanese
