Subsequence is a bilingual, semi-annual magazine published by Cubism Inc., the parent company of visvim. Founded and edited by Kosuke Ide, the magazine explores global arts, crafts, design, travel and culture through richly photographed essays and long-form storytelling. Guided by the theme “Arts & Crafts for the Age of Eclectic”, each issue celebrates craftsmanship, creativity and cultural heritage from diverse perspectives around the world. Volume 7, Remember?, explores the role of memory in shaping personal histories, cultural identity and creative expression. Through conversations with artists, designers and other creators whose work preserves and reinterprets local stories, the issue reflects on how memories endure across generations and communities. Accompanied by features on lesser-known crafts, art and cultural traditions from around the world, it combines striking imagery with thoughtful storytelling. 160 pages 26 x 37 cm Bilingual in English and Japanese
